What is your company Elevator pitch when talking about your company?

Mittcom is a midsized, privately-held advertising agency that handles a diverse roster of clients in the toy industry, home improvement, retail, entertainment and tier two automotive.

We offer a full range of services including traditional, digital and social media as well as award winning creative services and in-house video production. Our team can provide these big agency resources but operate like a smaller, more nimble partner.

What excites you the most about your industry?

The ability to directly impact our client’s business.

How do you go about making difficult leadership decisions, both big and small?

From a staffing perspective, I alway try to make decisions that are in the best interest of the company. While we have to be sensitive to the needs of our individual employees, we are a team. Like a good coach, the team only wins when they play together with one singular goal in mind, winning!

What advice would you give to someone who wants to enhance their leadership skills?

Get a mentor, make mistakes, never take yourself too seriously and no matter what the outcome, always try to do what is fair.

What is the biggest challenge you think you or your organization is going to face in the upcoming year?

We have three big challenges in the upcoming year: staffing, staffing, staffing.
With the red hot economy coupled with a lack of motivation to reenter the workforce, talent remains are biggest challenge.
