What is the biggest change in marketing that you see coming in the next 2 years?

Marketers are being forced to think what the world will be without cookie tracking. The prioritization for brands to own their own first party data is really important so they can continue to personalize and engage with their target audiences and customers as authentically and as contextual as possible. This puts more pressure on all of their budgets to ensure they are driving clear ROI on their investments. We are seeing this transformation happen in our industry as marketers are now looking at experiential and digital investment in a new hybrid format that can maximize these goals.

What is one tip that you would give when it comes to digital marketing?

Define what your goals and success are first and then work back against your different campaigns and initiatives. Then make sure you have clear ways for measurement and benchmarking success in advance so you can track and optimize throughout execution.

What is something in your career that you learned from by making a mistake?

As an entrepreneur, the one lesson I learned early and carry with me everyday is that you need to figure out the most agile way to prove out your assumptions as quickly and efficiently as possible. I have wasted too much time on concepts and ideas without a clear plan to prove the thesis on the opportunity early on in my career. This is the beauty of digital marketing – you need to define your MVP to get your learnings and then grow from there with further investment while tracking your failures and learnings every step of the way to build great products and campaigns.
