What is your company Elevator pitch when talking about your company?
SGLabs is a research and strategy firm that leverages our conscious/unconscious research platform and multi-disciplinary team to uncover your business’ “why.” We’ve launched the Consumer Emotional Index (CEI), analyzing and correlating 1.4+ million data points about consumers, creating deeper relationships, and leveling up the conversations brands are having.
What is the biggest change in marketing that you see coming in the next 2 years?
Due to the pandemic, it is now more important than ever that we, as marketers, need to understand how our community is feeling and craft our messaging campaigns to approach our community at just the right time and in the right way during this time of societal-level trauma we are collectively experiencing.
What is one tip that you would give when it comes to digital marketing?
Don’t just do what your competition is doing. Take the time to do primary research and to understand your community better than your competition. Don’t just assume they know better. They might, but they might not!
What is the main pain point that you solve for your customers?
Our team dives deeply into research that typically sits between a brand’s executive team and their community. Helping the executive team ask the right questions, hear how their community feels, and identify their effect on the purchasing journey and eventual purchasing decision. We use these insights to level up their communications, so they can create a true relationship with their community.
