What is the biggest change in marketing that you see coming in the next 2 years?
Jeanine: The application of emotional intelligence to phygital experiences.
Jon: The biggest challenge coming is that expectations for what a “brand” can accomplish vs what “people” can accomplish is shifting significantly. For most of us who are not Apple or Under Armour, we can’t keep relying on “the brand” for our marketplace gravitas. The personal brand – aka strategic mobilization of individuals- is where the power is shifting. Companies that put all their eggs in the corporate brand basket are going to find that the basket shrunk and the eggs expired. People have to get out in front. “Personal brand” is just code word for strategically mobilized individuals in a broader ecosystem.

Jeanine: Outfront Solutions provides business and marketing strategy, martec and martec services under one roof.
Jon: I’ve taken marketing operations and planning and applied them to the personal brand process for leaders, individuals, and entrepreneurs. Like an engine swap to help mobilize brand ambassadors but with the rigor and formalization of a brand marketing strategy.
