What is the biggest change in marketing that you see coming in the next 2 years?
The resurgence of experiential, in person engagement will be much more front and center as the media landscape becomes more fragmented and consumers crave unique, instagrammable experiences. Oh yeah, and the pandemic has kept us inside for 2 years so consumers are looking to get out of the house.
What is the advantage to working with an outside media buyer as opposed to having just an internal marketing director?
Ideally pricing efficiency (better negotiation, avoid double spotting, etc) although the promise of an outside media buyer never seems to live up to the promise.
How does a media buyer stay on top of trends with media placement?
Upfronts, ongoing negotiation with partners and networks
