We need to understand how our community is feeling and craft our messaging campaigns to approach our community at just the right time, in the way, and at the time that they prefer to be approached.
What is the advantage to working with an outside media buyer as opposed to having just an internal marketing director?
An outside media director knows how to focus a campaign in a way that someone who buys media once and a while just can’t, they know where they can get the most out of their client’s budget.
What is one tip that you would give when it comes to media planning?
Get to know your community in a way that your competition doesn’t and then tailor your communications strategy based on these insights.
How does a media buyer stay on top of trends with media placement?
By doing it every day, by researching, and by understanding the communities they service.
