What is the biggest change in marketing that you see coming in the next 2 years?
I think the elephant in the room is the deprecation of 3rd party cookies. On top of that there is the increasing privacy regulation globally and within the US. The combination of factors like this means that brands and agencies will now need to rethink how they leverage data for their marketing efforts. The challenge is that up until now, there has not be a standard approach for data quality verification similar to the IVT and brand safety standards in place for media buying. Our company Neutronian, is focused on addressing this need by providing a standardized, comprehensive scoring of overall data quality and compliance that data buyers can leverage to better evaluate their options up front. We can also provide customized verification to align with specific business needs (ex. DEI initiatives focused on aligning more media spend towards minority owned publishers) in addition to assisting with performance evaluations to help understand how a dataset delivers on desired campaign outcomes.
