What is the biggest change in marketing that you see coming in the next 2 years?
Great question. Marketing and technology. We straddle that line.
What are the major challenges that you (and/or other advertisers) face today?
The political and economic climate. We live in a constant state of economic headwind and it dampens confidence to invest in marketing. We have to educate more on the front end now and that is not going to change.
How is the trend towards streaming television (CTV) impacting your advertising strategies?
We do more B2B than B2C, but once the targeting gets job demographic data, we are in. We need to reach more people by industry, and the consumer oriented approach does not offer us that yet in a direct enough way.
What tactics do you find to be the most effective in getting your message or your customers’ message heard?
Dominating page one of Google for brand searches, getting into page one for more non-branded searches, and making websites easier for the customer to consume. Plus, we roll out ver smart content strategies that get more use out of every piece of content we plan and produce. That way we touch more people with search, social, email, and video with the message.
